Twenties framed coloured wood-cut ‘Pinks’ By John Hall Thorpe - signed in pencil Circa 1920s Height 48.5cm Width 34.5cm John Hall Thorpe (1874-1947) was an Australian artist who emigrated to England in 1900. He was well known for his stylised coloured wood-block prints, particularly depicting flowers, which he personally printed and published. He had a gallery in South Kensington.
